About the teacher
Hi everyone,
My name is Iresha Kularathna and here is a little bit about my musical journey.
My passion for music started at a very young age and has continued, allowing me to achieve my goals as a musician in a very short period of time. The inborn musical talent that I have been blessed with and the academic education, along with the hard work has created so much momentum in my life.
I started my journey as a very young violinist and I later pursued further studies on Keyboards, Piano and Guitar. However, I was able to excel in violin by obtaining a bachelor degree specialised in violin which was both challenging and rewarding. Moreover, having involved in classical and popular music as a performer, composer, director and a lyricist I have encompassed a vast amount of experience in this industry. Currently I am involved in further studies in music and would love to share my knowledge and experience with my prospective students who are keen and passionate to accomplish their dreams through music.

FAQs
1) What is the most popular duration for lessons?
# Half hour. But based on your personal requirements the session times can be extended.
2) What is the cost for a 30 minute session?
# Piano and Guitar - $36 + GST per session
# Violin - $39 + GST per session
# AMEB exams - $39 +GST per session
3) I have some friends who are interested in getting some lessons. Is there a maximum number that I can introduce?
# No. You can introduce as many as you want. However there will be a limit of 1 maximum referral for the FREE lesson promotion. (Read next 2 FAQs for more information)
4) What's in it there for me for introducing new students?
# You will be rewarded with a FREE lesson on the same week that your new friend enjoys his or her 12th lesson.
5) What will happen if my introduced friend discontinues lessons?
# If your friend discontinues his/her lessons after the 12th lesson there is nothing to worry. You will not lose your entitled FREE lesson. However, if the introduced friend discontinues lessons before the 12th lesson, the friend referral benefit will be terminated.
6) How can I earn 2 FREE lessons?
# When you start your lessons you will receive the 1st free lesson.
# When you introduce a friend you can enjoy a second free lesson.
(Please note the new friend referral benefit will depend on the slot availability and the lesson continuity of the introduced friend)
7) Can I take lessons outside standard business hours?
# Yes you can. Please contact for more information.
8) Can I learn to play/perform popular songs as well?
# Yes you can.
9) Do you entertain students with special needs?
# Yes I certainly do. Please contact me for more support.
10) What are the available music lesson types?
# ☆Piano ☆Guitar ☆Violin ☆Keyboard
11) How does the lesson cancellations and make up lessons work?
# If you're unable to attend in a particular week we can simply carry forward that lesson to the following week. However you will need to provide at least 24 hour notice to be eligible for a make up lesson. Otherwise that day will be considered absent and you will be charged the full fee for that day's lesson.
12) My family is planning a holiday and I need some time off from my lessons. What should I do to keep the slot available?
Don't worry. You can be absent without losing your slot up to maximum of four weeks. If your holiday will be longer than four weeks students will have to pay for the extra days for keeping the slot available for themselves.
13) Do we have to wait for a particular time of the year/term to be eligible for makeup lessons
# Not really. Once you've provided prior notice for a cancellation (24 hours before the lesson) you will be eligible for a make up lesson on the following week.
